Eqi

We sail from Ilulissat in the morning and arrive at Eqi approx. 2 hours after. Along the way, we sail past the settlement of Oqaatsut, where we make a short stop outside the settlement.

On this trip there is a great chance to see whales and majestic icebergs that are many times larger than the boat. Of course we stop and enjoy the view.

On arrival at Eqi we find a good spot where we can turn off the engines and listen to the glacier move. If we are lucky, we see and hear some large pieces falling off. It sounds like a thunderstorm and is an experience of a lifetime.

When the brought lunch and coffee/tea have been enjoyed, we turn the boat back towards Ilulissat. However, there will first be an opportunity to bathe in the cold water. So remember a towel and swimwear.
